This year continued the recent growth for NORA.  We again broke attendance records and enjoyed having so many special people attend the meeting.  This year the attendance broke our previous records as we reached 274.  This included 40 students attending from 15 schools.   NORA continues to offer top notch education on the clinical skills side (Skills 1, 2 and Advanced) as well as the general program.  This year the Advanced clinical skills course was hallmarked by a day of IMPACT training and the second day was how to implement it into clinical practice.  We were led by Deann Fitzgerald, OD and her team including Shannon McGuire and Becky Moran.

At the meeting our new Executive Director was introduced, Angela Gosling of Denver, CO.  Through a lengthy interview process Angela was selected and we’re so glad she’s become part of the NORA family.  We look forward to great things from her energy and efforts.
