2/2/2017

Dr. Jen Simonson will be speaking with students at the Arizona College of Optometry at Midwestern University about vision rehabilitation for preschool-aged children on Friday, February 3, 2017.

This presentation is part of the Optometrists Change Lives student program. The goal is to educate students how to both assess and develop visual skills in our youngest patients.

Due to falls and accidents, very young children are often affected by concussion. This can greatly impact their visual development. The goal of this presentation is to familiarize students with age-appropriate assessment and treatment strategies. Dr. Simonson will be presenting ways to adapt familiar techniques to this age group using photos, videos and live demonstrations.
